These terms are the agreement between you and Halomax. By using Halomax you agree to them. Questions: hello@halomax.top.
Who can use Halomax
You must be 18 or older.
Your photo
- Only upload a photo of yourself, that you have the right to use.
- Never upload photos of other people, of anyone under 18, or explicit images.
What Halomax is, and isn’t
- A Halo Card is an AI-made preview of how changes to your hair, skin, brows, grooming and makeup could look, with steps to get there. It is an illustration, not a guarantee: real results depend on your hair, your skin, your stylist or barber and many other things.
- Halomax gives no face scores, ratings or rankings.
- Halomax is not medical advice. Skin and hair routines describe everyday product types and habits, not treatment of any skin or hair condition. For acne, hair loss, rashes or any other condition, see a dermatologist or doctor.
Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your email; there is no password. Keep access to your email account safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
The free preview
Everyone can make one free preview (blurred, with the first step of each part). It is limited to one per person, email and device.
Buying a single Halo Card
The price is shown before you pay. Paying unlocks that card in full: the sharp preview, every close-up and step, your routines and a PNG to keep. The card stays in your account until you delete it.
Plans and the Week pass
- Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period (a month, 90 days or a year) and charge the price shown, until you cancel.
- The Week pass is paid once and lasts 7 days. It never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
- You can cancel a plan any time in your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a renewal payment doesn’t go through, lava.top tries again within about a day and your plan keeps working meanwhile. If it still fails, the plan is cancelled.
- You can switch to another plan from your account. The new plan starts once it is paid, with all its cards; your current plan or pass ends then and won’t renew. Unused days of the old one aren’t refunded.
- Each plan includes a number of new Halo Cards per period, shown when you choose it. Cards a plan makes are unlocked right away. Unused cards don’t carry over to the next period. When you reach the limit, you can wait for the next period or buy a single card.
- Which plans are offered can change. A plan you already have keeps its terms until it ends or you are told about a change as described below.
Prices
Prices and the currency are shown before you pay. We may change prices. For an active plan we tell you at least 14 days before the new price applies to your next renewal, by email or in the app, so you can cancel first if you don’t want to continue.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by lava.top; their terms apply to the payment itself. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Using Halomax fairly
Please don’t:
- use Halomax to harass, embarrass or impersonate anyone;
- present a Halo Card as a real, unedited photo in order to mislead someone;
- get around the free-preview or plan limits, for example with many emails or devices;
- scrape, copy or automatically access Halomax, or try to break or reverse engineer it;
- upload anything illegal.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Rights
Your photo stays yours. You allow us to process it only to make your Halo Card. Your cards are for your own use and you are welcome to share them. The Halomax name, design and app belong to us.
Changes to Halomax and to these terms
We may improve, change or stop features. While the banner at the top of Halomax says payments are simulated, no payment is real. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell signed-in users before the change applies.
Responsibility
We work hard to keep Halomax running and accurate, but we provide it as it is, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Law
If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live.
